Michael Mooney

Michael spoke on the 11th March 2008Matthew Mooney is a Principal in the Auckland office of The Boston Consulting Group. He joined the Auckland office in 1996. Between 1998 and 2004 Matthew was based in the United States: he worked in the Boston office of BCG for two years; gained his MBA at Stanford University; and then spent two years assisting high growth New Zealand technology businesses while working for New Zealand Trade and Enterprise in Los Angeles. In 2004 he returned to BCG Auckland, and has been based there since. Matthew holds a Master of Commerce and Bachelor of Laws degree from Auckland University and a Master of Business Administration from Stanford University where he was an Arjay Miller Scholar. He sits on the Advisory Board of the ICEHOUSE, a prominent New Zealand technology incubator

Kevin led the consultancy practice of PricewaterhouseCoopers specialising in Strategy Development, Governance Reviews and Change Management in the private sector, public sector and not for profit organisations. He managed the NZ Directors Fees Survey for over 15 years and founded Effective Governance NZ in 2006. He is currently CEO of the NZ Shareholders Association
John Barclay

He started his work career in finance moving into industrial marketing then general management of a fast moving consumer goods business. He had two years in executive recruitment followed by five years consulting in the design and implementation of organisational change before joining a telecommunications company as HR Director. His portfolio extended to include Property and then Information Systems Development. Immediately prior to joining ASB John was a Director in the Strategic Change practice of PricewaterhouseCoopers Consulting leading the team specialising in Organisational and Change Strategy.

After joining Deloitte in 1994, Stefan's focus switched to management consulting in 1999. Stefan's experience has been built on a wide range of business transformation projects, and his global view based on opportunities in Canada, the US and Australia. Stefan is now the New Zealand lead for Finance Transformation, and represents the firm in the Asia Pacific region.

Tim is a Director in the Auckland office of PricewaterhouseCoopers. He provides strategic and performance improvement advice to private companies . Tim is responsible for driving the firm's Emerging Business strategy in Auckland and has a particular interest in high growth business. He also currently provides advice to businesses on surviving and prospering through the current economic downturn. Tim holds a Master of Management degree in management and Bachelor of Business Studies degree in International Business.
